This section is for the users' to post tips (features) on using the X10 not questions like: "How do I add album cover ART?" or "How do I connect to my friend's wifi at the North Pole?" :? - when that could be found in the online manual or on many posts by users.

hi.
On my music DB I have lot's of ripped cd's some of which are stored under the Unknown heading, what I'm trying to do not with any success is to rename them and put them back into the general index in the DB. Some advice please

hi...had the same problem...had to do it manually via the web gui on the PC....that way you can cut and paste the album title to the appropriate songs...hope you can follow this....the PC web gui will also enable you to search for an artist or whatever to narrow down the search.

Is this just a specific albums or are all the stuff mixed up.
You could rename it for a start if you know the genre - eg sort by genre & rename.
(Menu/rename).
The problem with the x10,x30,x40,... is renaming via the folder will corrupt the whole music db.
You could try import & tag-edit & then export; if the web-interface is slow.
