Hi
I have been trying to work out how to rip a cd after it has been determined as unknown.
or does it mean i can't ever rip any of my unknown cd's
Hope you can help. thanks

If the cds are original albums, you could re-rip (if the metadata is updated), but if the cds are just not being read check for network link.
The device will reject Cds that can't be found or "finger printed".
There is an update for unknown pending with auto tag according to support.
I would rip them & import to the music folder.

so does that mean i rip them on my pc then import to my logitech folder?

Copy the songs/folders to the "music" folder & refresh from the squeeze server or app...(it will do that automatically but you can just refresh)
Same for Mac or Windows PC to access folders
[THE FOLDERS ON your box might be different, due to updates - this image is old]
If your folder isn't added you can link it & refresh it - you could create many folders or just use the default folders.
