Hi guys,
still having issues getting the web interface on the X10 to function properly
9 times out of 10 it will show the incorrect track playing.
It is always one behind.
It seem to happen when creating a virtual playlist.
If an album is selected to play last it will always be out by one track and I think it is something to do with the tagging and it seeing the first track as track 0 instead of 1?
Either way it is very frustrating
I would try the new beta interface but there is no option to sort music by when it was imported to the DB which is possible using the old interface and very useful

A web interface update resolving these issues is really what is required
I don't know of any other HIFI company who would allow their product to come to market so unfinished.
The X10 has been around a long time now so this should really be sorted rather than just retiring the product which I imagine will be Cocktails answer to the problem.

This also happens on the X30, even when playing a single album.

, note that the track being played is shown as number 20 but the fileplayer number 18/22 is actually correct. It is odd that it is higher than the fileplayer number given that the track listing starts at 0. If it were as simple as counting from zero rather 1, all counts would be out by one.

, note that, when playing the last track of the album (22/22), the numbering of the tracks is out by 5 and doesn't even show the the track being played in the list.

More happy customers!
So the X30 is another one to strike off my list.
Only hope for Cocktail is if the Pro X100 gets some decent reviews.
Anyone know of any online reviews?

@Loopdigga247 Actually, I am very happy with my X30, despite having a duff one that was exchanged.

This bug is really minor (for me at least). The track being played is listed correctly, so it's no big deal.

I only posted my findings to try to help with their debugging. As a software developer myself, I know how hard it is to find the problem without hard evidence.

Having looked at the HTML rendered, the track listing is output as a table with 7 rows although only 4 show completely on my PC with only the top of the 5th row visible (see the screenshots in my previous post). It looks to me as though the tracks listed in that table are correct, it's just the number assigned to them that is wrong.

So, in my opinion, all that is needed to correct this is :-
1. remove the numbering
2.
a. either output fewer rows in the table
b. or change the font size
c. or increase the height of the open/close toggle area so that 7 rows can be displayed

The offending section of code starts at
section id="player" class="opened" style="height: 220px;"

I hope your developers find this useful.

Thanks guys.
Lets hope the developers decide to include the changes in a firmware update.
However I'm not going to hold my breath as there hasn't been an update since November 2014!

Hi guys
And lets remember, it was the November 2014 update which introduced this glitch; tracks were displayed correctly before then!

It was fully reported on the forum at the time, so after 14 months of inaction, it seems we are just going to have to put up with it.

Why can't they just finish the newer beta version?
I would use it if I could sort albums by when they were added

Does this mean that if I go back to R1760 the mini-player will display the correct track? Sounds good, because I can't see anything I really need in R1793.

I wonder if this would also fix the fault where the mini-player does not display each track's embedded cover art but instead displays the album's folder.jpg instead? The X10 itself correctly displays each track's embedded art.

I can report that the latest software update to the X30 (R0122) seems to have fixed this issue. Thanks!
