Hi. This is the web GUI I am currently using 0.9.8.2a. It is better than my previous version 0.9.6.7b (which hardly works at all now) but there is still far too much wrong with it, even allowing for it being a beta when it was downloaded. Has anyone got a web GUI which actually does everything it is supposed to do? If so which version do you have and how can I get it? If I can't resolve this then I am sorry to say that my X10 will be going. So frustrating. Many thanks.

The previous one is better but the current one works well on any device other than a PC.
Their DB & the whole structure client-server thing isn't quite apt - best done on a wired else use an app.
Wireless can be slow if you have a weak signal. Also client-server commands via the php isn't really smooth

Thanks for the reply tech1a. Why a business would ignore all those customers who use a PC is beyond me. However, it explains a great deal and probably is the reason why Support has given me no help whatsoever over the last 18 months. I wish they had been honest with me. At least I now know that the best thing for me to do is get rid of my X10.

Not so fast :) ...I just think the DB/design structure is the problem.
You don't have to use the gui if it's slow for you.
Cocktail Audio X10 (fw) is probably better than the X40
I only use the UK support 'support@cocktailaudio.co.uk' all the other sellers don't have a clue.

Someone at Cocktail must know if a proper non beta update is on the cards.
Visually its better but simple things like being able to sort albums by when they were added aren't available.
If the update is anything like their fix for the x10 backup problem (still not resolved) I wouldn't hold your breath
