Do i use the sonos app on the x100 or do i use the sonos program?
Nothing is showing at the moment on my sonos system.

Just make sure the devices are on the same network, the sonos will pick up the X100, no settings required.
Restart your Sonos if it doesn't see the X100.
The protocol is designed to pop up, you can use the customised tool (app) if you like but it isn't relevant.
