I am trying to connect my new X12 to Sonos. Following the "How to Guide" I get hung up at step 3 (and therefore also 4). While I can view the X12 from the computer there is no shared folder "Music DB" (or "Local Storages" for that matter) - the only folders are the 5 individual "Album/Artist/Composer/Genre/Title" ones. As a result I have been unable to set the networth path to the X12. I even reformatted the Hard Disk in case I had slipped up at installation time.

Is there some step in the X12 setup where folders are created that I have missed or some other step necessary?

Have you tried showing hidden folders?

Good suggestion as I have only recently upgraded from XP and and am still learning. However a check showed the computer is "showing hidden files". Still searching!
