Help.

Can anyone advise me please. I am trying to play my ipod via the USB host on the back of the x10, I have a sea gate external hard drive in there at the moment and everything works fine when I remove the USB plug and replace whith the USB cable attached to my ipod the x10 cannot see it even after a reboot. Can anybody help please. Q

Yes, the ipod etc don't use the "USB mass storage" option, hence it has to be "synced", with other forms like MTP or other.
So nothing can be seen via the cocktail audio or other players unless it supports the ipod protocol.
I am not sure how apple(i -devices) configures their kits, perhaps there is an option on the ipod or you could just make the 'ITUNES library' shareable so the X10 can then play all the music rather than just what you have on your ipod.
I had a portable player that enabled me to switch from MTP to PTP/USB et..type this way i could do whatever i wanted.
Hope this gives you an idea.
