This section is for the users' to post tips (features) on using the X10 not questions like: "How do I add album cover ART?" or "How do I connect to my friend's wifi at the North Pole?" :? - when that could be found in the online manual or on many posts by users.
Thank You

I am in the process of putting my CDs and their Album Art on to the Cocktail and everything is running smoothly.
I would just like to understand a little about Random listening. I enjoy listening, not knowing what is coming up next. If I am understanding it properly, I cannot do this directly from the music database but can do it if Playlists were created and then listen randomly to what's in an individual Playlist.
I would prefer not to create Playlists; but would I be right in saying that I could possibly create one Playlist and stick all the contents from the database into it and then bob might be my uncle.
Just want a little advice before I commit myself to unnecessary work.
Hope all the above explains everything ok.
Many thanks in advance.

Random is already at the link below:
viewtopic.php?f=17&t=165

Random works with the whole collection, HDD1 folder or with a playlist.
You can do whatever you like .......
