I want to record some of my LPs. Do I connect to the X10 direct from the turntable or from the Line Out of my amp?

It’s a jack 3.5 mm from the X10 to your record system.
If your record system has a bigger jack hole use a convertor.

I'm not sure but i think the output level of a turntable (around 5mV) is too low for the Aux input of the X10

You should need an amplifier to cope withe the level of the aux (around 200 mV)

Yes, that is my concern. Do I connect from the amp output or can I connect directly from the turntable output.

You should input your turntable into the phono (nothing other) input of your amplifirer the the rec out from your amp to the aux in of the X10

Some turntable have a "line" output that can go direct to the X10 input but most of those turntable are not hifi

Already told you the recording container:(link)

As long as you have a good sound from your LP Player you shouldn't have any problem.
X10 records what is coming from the source. The rendering is done from the LP player.
If you want to convert the WAV stream to Flac, ogg or mp3
