After updating the firmware on my X45, I discovered that the web interface is no longer available. Back and forth with Novatron support has helped me attempt to use the MusicX Neo on my Macbook Pro (although it dumps out ever 5 minutes or so), but I still cannot fathom how to import files via the USB port to my internal hard drive.

Any guidance here would be most appreciated. Also, has anyone been able to use MusicX Neo on an iPhone or iPad? I can occasionally get it work with the phone but not at all with the iPad.

I actually discovered how to import ("copy") files into My Music shortly after submitting my previous post. However, I just discovered that there appears to be no way to remove or delete an album and/or songs from My Music. I just can't find any menu option for it at all.

Are you accessing the file thru the software or device or network options?
Sorry i do not use that model, but generally all the models can be accessed via network but the pro-x100 allows direct edit/copy like a server without corrupting the file system or thru the webGui or squeezer App or ipeng IOS app.

The recent firmware for the X45 (and others) removes the network (web interface) option to access the MusicDB. As addressed above, I have had difficulties following the new routines introduced by the Music X NEO app particularly since, as I mentioned, the app is operable only through my MacBook Pro, not by iPad or iPhone.

Through trial and error, I have discovered how to fully navigate around Music X NEO, adding newly downloaded files, deleting unwanted ones, and generally accessing my entire file collection. And I will admit, the adjustable display of albums/artists, genres, et al is quite impressive. Novatron, however, could reexamine its terminology in offering introduction and instruction into the new system. That would be very helpful.
